AMMAN, July 2023 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and ila Digital Banking App powered by Bank ABC Jordan signed an agreement, under which ila Jordan will become the Gold Sponsor of the "Go Green Against Cancer" initiative, with the goal of raising awareness environmentally friendly behaviors that contribute to cancer prevention. According to a KHCF's statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the agreement was signed by KHCF Director-General Nisreen Qatamish and ABC’s Head of Retail Banking Group, Taj Khomosh.

“We commend ila Jordan for the level of environmental awareness they have which has driven them to support this initiative. It is only with the support of enlightened partners like ila Jordan than we can create the behavior change we aspire for through this initiative”, Qatamish explained. Khomosh added “KHCF will work towards a cancer-free future and protect the public’s health by promoting eco-friendly habits, noting that the bank’s contribution is in line with its commitment to the community to support national cancer prevention efforts”.
